Ishan Lakhani

Research Interests: Cardiac Epidemiology, Cardiac Biomarkers

Ishan is a fifth year medical student in Hong Kong. He has already published works in many international journals such as Metabolism: Clinical and Experimental and has obtained funding to support his attendance at many overseas Cardiology Conferences, including the American College of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology. He is involved in Medical Education - with his position as the Director of Clinical Sciences for Virtual Research Lab - and Public Health - with his leadership role in the Medical Students Service Platform (MSSP), an organization that collaborates with various NGOs in Hong Kong. Ishan is also the proud recipient of the Ti Hua Koo and Dorothy Koo Vee Koo Scholarship, the Gerald Choa Memorial Fund Service Scholarship as well as the Young Investigator Award at the Inaugural Clinical and Translational Cardiology Conference in Hong Kong.
