Edward Christopher Dee

Research Interests: prostate cancer clinical research; gastrointestinal tumors; radiation oncology; ablative radiation; cancer disparities in the US and Asia; financial toxicity of cancer care

Biography: Chris is from Manila, Philippines, and Vancouver, Canada. He studied molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale and completed his medical degree at Harvard. He is in radiation oncology residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His primary research is with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute genitourinary radiation oncology group, mentored by Dr. Paul Nguyen and Dr. Anthony D'Amico. At Massachusetts General Hospital, he worked with the group of Dr. Ted Hong and Dr. Jennifer Wo studying cholangiocarcinoma. At MSK, he works with Dr. Fumiko Chino and Dr. Chris Crane. 
Chris also works closely with academics and physicians in the Philippines and was listed in Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 for Healthcare and Sciences in 2021.
